Race Overview
A terrific campaigner and very hard to fault in this branch of the business, FILWELL (10) starts on the back row but proved in the Gr.3 Prix de l'Ile d'Oleron that he is eminently up to the task. Titleholder EDITION GEMA (11) also has an extra 25m to travel but she has been acquitting herself superbly this winter and represents the main danger. HANNIBAL TUILERIE (8) gave a fine account last month on his first monte start since 2020 before following up with a similarly good run in a harness Gr.3, and must be taken at face value. Barring the occasional blunder, IMPALA DE VAL (3) seldom disappoints and Benjamin Rochard will be eager to confirm their recent Gr.3 victory.
