Disappointing in 2 since imposing on 2025 bow, latterly last of 14 behind GAGNEUR (6) in a 2850m Laval Class D late last month. Barefoot this time but chances still limited

Won a Class D under the saddle here before finishing last but one in a 2850m Laval Class D conditioner early last month. Goes barefoot this time and looks a player

Beaten only by a very good mare in a Class D under these conditions 3 weeks ago. Takes on the boys this time but is as tough as they come and thrives in the day's configuration. Place prospect

Left a good impression at Enghien before being sanctioned in a Class D over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Goes barefoot again and should not be entirely ruled out

Returns to a previous formula after coming 5th of 15 in a 2450m Caen Class D on 6 March but a repeat seems most improbable

9th of 14 in a 2850m Laval Class D late last month. Has ample ability but would be preferred competitively-shod

Ran 3rd in a Vincennes Class C before coming 6th of 15 in a 2925m Cagnes Class B on 27 February. Appreciates 2850m over the main track and will be competitive for a place in the mix

Takes his chances in Paris after running 3rd of 12 in a 2150m Cagnes Class D on 9 March. Seldom seen here and appears to have too much to do

Surprisingly lacklustre 9th of 14 in a 2825m Cordemais Class D in late-February. Receives a Mathieu Mottier drive this time and can play a small role

5th of 12 behind HARRY LE BEAU (8) in a 2150m Cagnes Class D on 9 March and will struggle to make his presence felt

Sanctioned early on re-entry in a 3000m Gr.3 at Salon-de-Provence on 26 March. Has won 2 of 3 with Benjamin Rochard and, with application, can extend that strike-rate

Makes first start since faulting in a 2850m monte Class C over short course on 21 February. Is confirmed in this configuration but others still easier to back

Missed out by little in a Class D under these conditions 3 weeks ago. Excels with the day's driver and has a legitimate claim on the silverware

5th of 13 in a 2700m claimer here on 1 April and even racing barefoot has no possible chance

Honest sort that ran 2nd of 11 in a 2800m Pontchateau Class D early last month. Has acquitted himself well in both Vincennes starts but represents no more than a minor place prospect

Last but one behind GAGNEUR (6) on comeback in a 2850m Laval Class D late last month. Will have come on for the run, has been entrusted to Paul Ploquin, and Mattia Monaco could not have asked for a better entry. First 5

Race Overview
GAMIN DES ISLES (13) is very hard to knock when barefoot and even harder to fault with Jean-Michel Bazire in the bike. The pair was just beaten here last month and JMB will be out to put things right. HARDI CROWN (11) boasts decent credentials under these conditions and Benjamin Rochard will be keen to make amends for his charge's recent sanction. Barring a late-January blip, HAUTE COTE DE NUIT (3) has been in cracking form and is shod as she was here in February. HERMES EXPRESS (2) has imposed multiple times with Eric Raffin and will be barefoot following a Laval freshener. GALION (7) held his own in good company at Cagnes in late-February and has the wherewithal to finish closer this time.
