Caen being a regularly successful hunting-ground for Philippe Allaire's youngsters, MEURSAULT (8) duly delivered when imposing under these conditions just under 2 weeks ago, but is still easy to like for a repeat. David Thomain will still be cautious of Franck Leblanc's MAGIC COCO (5) who also lost her maiden status at the first time of asking, and MOHAWK (9) who got it right on re-entry. MAJOR DU MAINE (6) has been thoroughly professional to date and will be justifiably well-supported.
