3rd of 9 finishers in a 2700m Graignes Class F 10 days ago. Shoes back on though and best to wait

Complicated type that finished 3rd of 13 in a 2875m Argentan Class F on 11 January. Enjoys a good spot behind the car and will be no pushover if Florent Guerineau manages to keep him trotting

Quality element that was rather unlucky when sanctioned in a 2350m Angers Class F on 9 December. Is patently in excellent shape, races shod this time, and Franck Ouvrie will be keen to put things right

Unexceptional type making Mauquenchy debut after running a surprising 6th of 10 finishers in a 2350m Angers Class F early-December, however a repeat seems improbable

Unthreatening 6th of 12 finishers in a 2750m Cabourg Class F a month back. Handed a good draw but still looks to be out of his depth

2nd of 7 finishers in a 2500m Reims Class F on 7 December. Has been lurking since the autumn and Paul Ploquin will be eager to seal the deal this time

7th behind KARLO (1) here before trailing in last but one behind KADEOS SI (4) in a 2350m Angers Class F early-December, and is not about to paint the town red

Mixes the good with the less good but ran a reassuring 2nd of 12 in a 2500m Reims Class F early-December. Forced to break wide, races barefoot for just 2nd time, and must be taken seriously

Difficult character that ran 6th of 8 finishers in a 2700m Graignes Class F on 30 December. Sports front pads for first time, with Yoann Lebourgeois reining, and despite the draw should not be too far from the action

2nd in a Class G over 2850m here before running 3rd of 9 finishers in a 2650m Bordeaux Class F a month ago. Pitted against better this time but, with form maintained, can finish in the mix

Modest trotter that was sanctioned, when unsupported, in a 2700m Graignes Class F 10 days ago and even racing barefoot has no realistic chance

Showed improvement when 5th of 11 in a 2875m Argentan Class F mid-December. On back line though and would be preferred a level down
Franck Taverne

Lost his action when heavily-backed in a 3000m Nantes Class F mid-December. Races shod this time though and, in this company, will struggle to make his mark

2nd of 11 finishers in a 2875m Argentan Class F on 11 January. Handed a shocker of a draw but has disappointed just once in the day's configuration and must be respected

Ran 4th at La Capelle before coming 5th of 13 in a 2050m Laval Class F on 8 December. Pierre-Yves Verva would have preferred a better draw but with some luck in running can get a look-in

Race Overview
A faithful servant for the most part, KARNO D'ARBAZ (6) left a very good impression at Reims early last month and, clearly close to his race, he starts in front and can impose. Paul Ploquin will still be keeping a watchful eye on the better-positioned, and freshly-shod, KEL COPAIN (3) who has not once finished out of the frame in 4 left-handed starts, and the tricky but capable KASIMODO DREAM (2) who reassured at Argentan recently. KOOL DANOVER (15) has been allocated an unattractive draw but will be no pushover if Romain Le Creps successfully negotiates the start.
