GAMIN DE MAHEY (3) was an excellent 2nd in a stronger race over course and distance on 29 December before refining his physical condition in preparation for this engagement by finishing 9th last time with his irons. Ideally entered on the front row behind the wings of the autostart and fully unshod again, he is unlikely to let his supporters down. GRANIT DU FRESNE (9), who is poorly placed on the outside but is endowed with a formidable burst of speed, FRODO S (13), best judged on his 5th achieved on 6 December, and GREZ (7), runner-up in his most recent outing, are those best equipped to pose a threat. GRAZIELA D'EL (1), who loves this speed course and is reunited with Yoann Lebourgeois, and FELICITA D'ECOUVES (6) make most appeal of the remainder.
