MARANOA CHARLIE (6) was only beaten once last year, and that came in a Group 1 in late October. He landed a Group 3 over 1600m, and although dropping back in trip today, his running style suggests it will suit. ARABIE (2), winner of the Prix Robert Papin over 1200m last year, should find today's distance ideal. SILIUS (8) has notched three wins at Cagnes-Sur-Mer this year, including a Listed race, and is rapidly improving. WOODSHAUNA (1) is another worth considering.
