Race Overview
SHORT FINAL (2) has repeatedly proven his competitiveness in this category off his current mark and has nothing to prove on deep/heavy ground. The return to a mile also holds no fears so he has a legitimate winning chance. JOH SPIRIT (8) left a great impression when winning over this course and distance last time and she remains competitive for the leading places, despite a resultant penalty. AVENUE MONTAIGNE (9), never worse than 3rd, and TUMBLER (6), whose consistency in Quinte races stands him in good stead, should also have a say in the outcome. HALF HALF (4), GALORD (1) and AMEDRAS (3) aren't taken lightly either in a typically competitive Quinte+ event.
