Veteran AL RASSOUL (11) was a good second in his only previous start over the course & distance. He is effective in this division and gets a tentative vote to resume winning ways. LA PALOMBIERE (10) caught the eye last time when runner-up at Clairefontaine and looks also a serious threat. BELLA CIAO (4) has a five pounds penalty to defy after her last success but remains competitive, at least for a place. PAS DE VELOURS (9) is always to be feared in this class of event and could be the right pick for the exotics.
