Easy winner under these conditions earlier in the month, MELANCHOLY MAN (8) steps up in category but is still improving, and Mathieu Mottier will be eyeing the double. Sanctioned on that occasion before reassuring in a Gr.3 a few days later, MESSI PASS (3) will be dangerous if focused, as will tricky monte debutante MANITAS DE TRUCHON (6) who left a good impression despite faulting at Toulouse last week. MISS DE LA COTE (10) has been a model of consistency and makes her ridden bow with a good hand to play.
