3rd of 9 finishers in a 2450m Caen Class F on 18 March. Hard to fault when focused and, with stride in check, can make it into the first 5

Faulted on comeback in a 2825m Class E at La Guerche-de-Bretagne last weekend. Sports a new configuration but looks to be out of his depth

2nd of 10 in a 2850m Maure-de-Bretagne Class F a fortnight back. Front pads fitted this time and, if still on the boil, should logically finish in the mix

Lost her action in a 2825m Durtal Class F under harness 3 weeks ago. Has promise but is capricious at the best of times and others easier to back

7th of 12, behind JULIUS DU THEIL (1) on monte debut in a 2450m Caen Class F 12 days ago. Is undeniably better than that and Benjamin Rochard will be out to put things right

8th of 13 in a 2825m Durtal harness Class F on 10 March. Shod for monte debut and not a realistic proposition

Tricky but talented mare that was sanctioned in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class D 11 days ago, but will be no pushover if Mathieu Mottier keeps her trotting

Transformed of late since returning to the monte code, latterly winning a 2725m Lisieux Class F with authority 2 weeks ago. In similar form, can repeat

Unraced since coming 3rd in a 2200m Vincennes Class E early-December. Won here last autumn under Paul Ploquin, is barefoot for re-entry, and will be no soft touch

Makes first appearance under the saddle, with hind shoes off, after faulting in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class F on comeback 11 days ago. No slouch on a good day under harness but still looks to have limited prospects

Race Overview
JULIA DU CHERISAY (9) has done nothing but progress since switching back to the monte discipline and is not incapable of confirming her Lisieux success. JEWEL D'HERMES (10), however, showed significant promise last season and, even though unraced since December, he is barefoot for the occasion and can make a big splash. JALISCA DE CHENU (8) may not be to everyone's taste but she is dangerous when focused and Mathieu Mottier has maintained faith. JAMAICA PHEDO (4) has turned a corner lately and even with a revised configuration looks a respectable place chance.
