Race Overview
Improving with every run, and winner of his last two, LISSANDRO (9) steps marginally up in class but races unshod-behind for the first time and can secure the hat-trick. Jean-Michel Bazire will however be justifiably wary of William Bigeon's freshly-barefoot L'AS DESBOIS (11) who did not enjoy the best of trips here on Christmas Day, and a reconfigured LEADER DE JOUDES (10) who beat a number of these in the Gr.3 Prix de Mansle mid-December. FUNKY ROC (3) was by no means disgraced that day and racing with 4 pads this time could well make all the difference.
