Fine runner-up in the Gr.2 Prix Octave Douesnel, KEENAN DE JOUDES (7) drew a tough number in the Criterium Continental but will have conditions in his favour this time and should be able to turn the tables on KOCTEL DU DAIN (15) who finished 8th that day. KHAL'S FELLA (9) endured a similar fate to Jean-Philippe Monclin's horse but his form is sure and has decent credentials over 2850m of the main track. Unraced since springing a 45/1 Octave Douesnel surprise, KANTO AVIS (3) must be afforded more respect this time.
