Comfortable winner first time out, MAGDA DE VANDEL (8) lost her action here last week but has bags of ability and can more than make amends if Alexandre Abrivard gets her off on the right foot. MY QUALITA PIYA (2) has yet to finish a race unscathed but she has evident ability and will have a lot to contribute if she stays in stride from one end of the race to the other. Louis Baudron could not have hoped for a better entry for MAMMA MIA (12) and the engagement of Gabi Gelormini speaks volumes. Sanctioned as often as not, MIAMI DREAM (10) nevertheless won last time out and can certainly not be discounted.
