Nicely-engaged at the limit of earnings, both the complicated but talented HOPE (12), and the more dependable FRANKLIN STAR (13), will be expected to fight out the finish. That will not however rule out amateur specialist, HENRIETT D'AURCY (10) who has never failed to deliver here, and HATALANTE DE FLO (8) who imposed with ease under these conditions early last month.
