Left a good impression here a fortnight ago before being disqualified in a 2600m Class F at Le Touquet last weekend and, on better behaviour, can finish in the mix

Made it 3 straight sanctions when faulting in a 2600m Class F at Le Touquet last weekend. Shoes on this time and not an obvious choice

Produced a brace of good efforts before faulting in a 2900m Guerlesquin Class F on Monday. Steps up in category and while not a priority, should nevertheless hold his own

Has merit but as tricky as they come, latterly sanctioned in a 2900m Guerlesquin Class F on Monday. Receives a Yoann Lebourgeois drive this time but others still preferred

Showed improvement when 6th of 8 in a 2900m Clairefontaine Class E mid-July, on just 2nd start back, but still appears to have more to find

Capable type but sanctioned in a 2575m Chateau-du-Loir Class F last Sunday. Hails from a yard on fire though and the new shoeing formula may be just what the doctor ordered. Place chance

Has not been seen out since coming a courageous but beaten 5th of 10 in a 2200m Caen Class E on 21 March. Shoes on for comeback and best to hold off

Useful type that came 7th, behind KORO DE LA COUR (10), on re-entry in a 2675m Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 2 weeks ago. Will have progressed for the run and can get a look-in

Returns to the harness code after coming 3rd of 11 in a monte Class F over course and distance early last month. Reunited with David Thomain and, from the front row, can play a leading role

On a decent run of form lately, most recently 4th of 9 finishers in a 2675m Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel a fortnight ago. Similarly-configured this time and looks a respectable first-5 chance

Respectable but unthreatening 4th of 7 finishers in a Class E over course and distance a fortnight ago. Shoes back on and, from the 2nd line, others easier to back

Back under harness after finishing 5th of 7 in a monte Class D over track and trip mid-July, but shoes back on and the extra 25m will not help his cause

Thrashed in both since the break, most recently last but one in a 2850m Laval Class C 2 months ago. Comes here fresh, but races shod and with limited aspiration

Won 3 in a row before being sanctioned, when full of running, in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 17 July, but returns to racing clockwise with every chance of making amends and defying the draw. Claim

Remarkable winner at Caen before coming last but one in a 3000m Rochefort-sur-Loire Class D 11 days ago. Is back in safer hands this time and will be expected to play a significantly more important role

Race Overview
The main protagonists find themselves on the second row here, with little to separate them, however preference goes to KELYO DU SOLNAN (15) who could well have secured a 4-timer had he kept his action together at Enghien mid-July. Similarly well-engaged at the limit of earnings, KILLER DE CAHOT (16) should not be too hastily-judged for his recent sanction and, reunited with his handler, can successfully bounce back. Hard to fault when focused, and 25m better off, KANTOUTSTART (9) has been close to his race for some time and, barefoot for the occasion, just gets the nod over KOMEO DU DOME (6) who races unshod-behind for the first time.
