NATIVE PEARL (1), who cost 550,000 at auction as a yearling, looked ill at ease on the heavy ground at Saint-Cloud on debut back in October but still acquitted herself well enough to finish 6th on that occasion. She would have come on appreciably with the benefit of that experience so is worth siding with here on her reappearance. VERA CAO (8) is, however, likely to fight for victory if building on the promise of her debut 2nd over this track and trip (has a Group I entry in both the Poule d'Essai and Prix de Diane). Both AROUND THE WORLD (6) and BETTER TOMORROW (4), after encouraging introductions of their own, could also pose a threat if confirming the promise of their debut performances.
