Winner of a multitude of Group races, the son of exceptional hurdler Saint Des Saints, he counts the G.I Prix Ferdinand Dufaure chase and, more recently, the G.I Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris among his more acclaimed victories.

Big Names Thrill at Auteuil

The weekend de l’obstacle at Auteuil demonstrated once again the excitement expected of it. Of note were the four G.I events which drew on the best of local- and foreign-trained runners. Saturday got under way with the Arnaud Chaillé-trained hurdler, Triana Du Berlais, winning the G.III Prix Bournoisienne in good style from Guillaume Macaire’s Caresse D’Estruval.
